So it's been 2 1/2 months since my last fight.  I have been in the gym training hard ever since and everyone has been working tirelessly to get something on the board for me but to no avail.  But it looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  There's a good chance I will be fighting in September/October so I will keep everyone posted once we get a fight confirmed.  My last two fights, and the only two of this year, didn't give me the satisfaction that a fight should.  One being the one round exhibition to get into the TUF house in which I lost by decision, and the other not even making it an entire round as my opponent blew out his knee.  Needless to say, I am more than hungry to take out some pent up frustration on my next opponent!

Though I have not been fighting it has been great to get to help out my teammates and travel to a couple of their fights.  In June, on my birthday weekend, Chris Camozzi fought New Jersey local Nick Catone on the UFC on FX card in Atlantic City.  He won via TKO in the 3rd round.  This made for an even birthday weekend that I got to spend in AC with my good friends, team, and family!  The following weekend my teammate fought in Kearney, NE for RFA.  Even though it was a much smaller town and we had a smaller group, it was just as much fun after Nick won by rear naked choke in the 2nd round after dropping his opponent with a nasty headkick!  After seeing my good friends get two huge wins in two straight weeks spirits have been high and everyone is more motivated than ever to keep the ball rolling for factory X!
