As some of you know, I was set to fight UFC vet Alvin Robinson on September 14. Unfortunately, we got word on Monday that the fight was off due to an injury Alvin sustained. I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to this one but again I was left without a fight. I wish Alvin a speedy recovery and hope to make it happen in the future.
Without a great team behind me I don't think I would be fighting because I'm way to impatient and have a hard time keeping my cool when stuff like this happens. I feel like my career is on the brink of being in a position to make a substantial amount of money doing what I love. A win or two away from making it into a big show. Thanks to Seth Daniels, my coach Marc Montoya, and my management Ingrained Media, I still have the opportunity to get that much closer to my dream. I am now fighting Gilbert Jimenez out of Texas for Fight To Win in Denver on September 14th. He's a super tough dude with a record of 6-6-1. A big shout out to Gilbert and his camp for taking this fight on less than four weeks notice! Training camp is going great and am looking forward to finally getting to punch someone in the mouth....it feels like I haven't fought in forever!
I have tickets for my fight so get in touch with me if you're interested in going. GA's- $30, Rows 3-5- $40, and Row 1&2- $50.
Also, check out my teammates with big fights this Friday! Marcus Edwards is fighting for Steel City Rumble in Pueblo and Chris Holland is fighting in Kansas City for Titan FC which with be live on AXS TV (formerly HD Net). Can't wait to see these guys kick some ass!
